FUTILITY

FUTILITY

This series is a quiet reflection on the fragility of time and the illusions we build around the future. Inspired by a real story — a man who spent ten years building his home, invited everyone to celebrate, and passed away just before crossing the threshold — the work touches on the human tendency to postpone living, always waiting for a more «suitable» moment. The images capture a sense of stillness, distance, and the unspoken tension between movement and absence. Through light, space, and detail, they explore the futility of chasing imagined outcomes while overlooking the life that is already unfolding around us. This is a meditation on missed presence, impermanence, and the question: What if the path itself is the only place where life truly happens?
